Stockyard cranes are needed for handling piece goods and bulk materials. We supply hook cranes in light or medium weight construction, as well as cranes with tongs or lifting beams in medium to heavy construction.
Both lifting beams and tongs are customised to suit the particular loads. For the handling of bulk materials, the cranes are equipped with hook-on load suspension devices such as motor-driven grabs or load-lifting magnets. In such cases, the trolleys are equipped with special ancillaries including cable drums, rectifiers and the like. Containers are handled with the use of special load suspension devices such as sling tackle, spreaders and similar gear. It is common practice for all load suspension devices, hoist units and trolleys travelling on the crane bridge to be tailored to customers’ specific requirements.
Stockyard cranes can be offered both with low lifting capacities and up to the the range of heavy-duty cranes.
Operating speeds are adapted to the loading and unloading output required. The span is adapted to the existing stockyard conditions.
