Installation and Workshop Cranes
Installation and workshop cranes permit handling of segments on elevated-level crane runways. While the former cranes with or without special load suspension devices are primarily used for the erection of steel structures and installation of machines, workshop cranes are specifically employed in machine operations and auxiliary handling operations in conjunction with special purpose cranes.
The trolley (also available with a slewing gear) travelling on the crane bridge can be equipped with main and auxiliary hoists. Depending on the load, the hoist units are designed as conventional winches.
Installation and workshop cranes can be offered with low lifting capacities up to the the range of heavy-duty cranes.
Operating speeds are adapted to the respective application and site conditions.
