Full Gantry Cranes of the Solid-Web Double-Girder Type
In medium-sized storage yards, it is often advisable to use a full gantry crane equipped with a trolley or employing the slewing crane principle. The crane bridge may be equipped with cantilevers. In the latter case, the columns are of gantry design. The load suspension devices used are bottom block with load hook, grab or magnets.
Load suspension devices used for container handling include sling tackle, spreaders and others. Trolleys with special load suspension devices are commonly customised designs tailored to the specific application.
Full gantry cranes in solid-web double-girder construction can be offered both with low lifting capacities and up to the the range of heavy-duty cranes with different stress conditions.
The supporting structure is a corrosion-protected easy-to-service solid-web construction.
